Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will be getting an addition sometime in the future.
A permit application detailing the upcoming addition was submitted to the South Florida Water Management District. It describes a T-shaped building standing at six to seven stories high and connected to the current resort with a covered walkway.
At present, there are no dates outlining when construction will begin or finish. Spokesman Bryan Malenius had this to say: "At any given time, we have numerous projects in various stages of development across our resort. If a project comes to fruition, we will share details when it makes sense to do so for our business."
Since news of the addition has surfaced, there is some speculation that building will be used as part of the Disney Vacation Club. At this time, however, there is nothing conclusive to say the Grand Floridian's addition will be for the DVC.

Hi, Mase! No, it was pretty vague, no other details accept it would be separate from the existing resort & 6-7 stories tall. If I come across anything else, I'll let you know.
