All-new Holiday Décor Coming to Downtown Disney Marketplace

The holiday season at the Downtown Disney Marketplace will be a bit merrier as all-new holiday decorations will be decking the halls of the outdoor shopping area.

Downtown Disney holiday decor celebrates 'handcrafted' holidays

The new festive decor will give guests the impression of a "uniquely handcrafted" Christmas, complete with spools, buttons, burlap, and yarn. The decor will include wreaths, garland, and of course a very large Christmas tree.

The Festival of the Seasons celebration starts at Downtown Disney on November 14 and runs through December 29. The holiday celebration includes holiday carolers, costumed stilt walkers and street performers, and a holiday DJ dance party.

Guests visiting Downtown Disney during the Festival of the Seasons also have a chance to meet Santa Claus and pose for a unique photo opportunity.

Due to the ongoing Disney Springs construction traffic will likely be an issue at Downtown Disney during this holiday season. Disney suggests guests should arrive early in the day for a leisurely shopping experience and take the Disney buses from the resorts rather than driving.

Guests who are driving to Downtown Disney may find parking in lots adjacent to the area. The new parking garage is scheduled to open on November 20 with 1,700 spaces available. By the end of December nearly 3,000 spaces will be open in the garage.
