'American Idol' Scotty McCreery Coming to Hollywood Studios

Attention fans of "American Idol": this year's recently crowned winner, Scotty McCreery, will be coming to Disney Hollywood Studios on Memorial Day. The festivities, including a "gala motorcade," will begin at 10 a.m. tomorrow (May 30).

It appears details for the event are still trickling in, but the Disney Parks Blog is reporting Scotty will take a ride with Mickey in a sports car from the park's entrance, down Hollywood Blvd. and ending up near (appropriately enough) the American Idol Experience.

There's no word that the North Carolina native will be singing at the Experience attraction. Fans can expect Scotty to pose with both Mickey and Minnie for photos as well as be able to recap his feelings and reaction to being crowned this year's "Idol" winner.
