One of my favorite places to visit while at Disney World is the Art of Disney store.
The main Art of Disney store is located in the Downtown Disney Marketplace, close to the parking lot. Another location is at Epcot Future World, just to the right of Spaceship Earth.
You can also find more Disney art throughout the parks at places like the Main Street Gallery in Magic Kingdom and the Animation Gallery at Hollywood Studios.
There are special events and artist signings often at Disney World -- check the Art of Disney Parks website to see the special events going on during your stay.
Also be sure to visit the Disney Fine Art website, where you can search for authorized Disney fine art galleries in your area. Be sure to check out the Disney fine art glass -- artwork hand-painted onto glass in limited editions featuring your favorite Disney characters.
Some art is available at disneystore.com as well.
Do you have a favorite Disney artist, or is there a piece you especially covet? Leave a comment below!

OOoo, if we were made of money....this store is dangerous!
We love the works of David E. Doss and have 4 prints so far in our collection. 2 have been custom framed and the other 2 are waiting to be framed.

Im with you Jeff. If I had a butt load of cash... I would decorate the upstairs in Disney Artwork.

JeffC -- I'm a huge fan of David E. Doss too! We have the "Wish You Were Here" Polynesian print, as well as "Mickey & Donald's Fun in the Sun" and the 2 that flank it on either side. Goes great in our beach-themed bedroom!

Ever since I saw the print of "Wish Your Were Here" I have been looking all over for it but can't seem to find it anywhere. If anyone knows where I could purchase it I would be very grateful. Apparently it's one of the most popular pieces and therefore hard to get.

I had emailed in regard to a print of firefighters Donald, Huey, Dewey and Louie. I was able to find the name of the print, "Ducky See Ducky Do" by David Willardson. Would you have this at the Art of Disney Store?
I would like to purchase this as a Christmas present.
Any assistance you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Jill Thorp

I am looking for a picture we saw at the Art of Disney store in Downtown Disney in Orlando. I am hoping you can help me find the picture. My kids saw it and I want to buy it for my wife, Here is the description they gave me:
1. A night painting of a "sparkley, horsedrawn carriage (Cinderella's) in the foreground and the disney castle in the background".
2. The carriage was in the center of the picture and the castle was towards the upper right part of the picture.
3. The painting was mostly shades of blue.
4. The carriage was on pathway to the castle.
Thanks

If you call the Main Switchboard at WDW (407-824-2222) they can connect you to the Art of Disney Store, who would be more than happy to help. I can't picture that piece in my head, so I'm not sure where else to point you.

I love Disney art, but was a little disappointed that they won't let you change the frames. Especially, considering they have the frames there. I found a fantasia picture I absolutely love, but I am not a bronze/gold colored person. Of course the only version is framed in bronze. So for a $500 framed print I would end up spending another $200 at least getting the framed changed, which just isn't worth it.
They need more flexibility.

I am looking for a print that I recently saw in The Art of Disney Store in Epcot.
The print was Mickey and friends in a train depot. It sold for $39.95
If anyone knows where I can get the print, please let me know.
Thanks,

Hi Alicia! Try giving the you call the Main Switchboard at WDW a call (407-824-2222). They will be able to connect you to the Art of Disney Store in Epcot, who would be more than happy to help. It's not unusual at all for them to ship art to people.

I'm trying to remember the name of the artist I just saw the other day at Art of Disney in Downtown Disney. It's a middle-aged woman. Amazing work. Name might start with an 'm'?
Kristen K. wrote on Thu, 02/07/2013 - 13:55:
Hi Bob! Wish I could help but I'm just not sure. Perhaps if you called down to the store they would know, the number is in comments above.

Hi Diane, they do not have a specific store just for the Art of Disney, however many of the more popular prints can be found on the DisneyStore.com

Thomas Kinkade did a great WDW Main Street, USA piece: http://thomaskinkade.com/art-genre/disney-images/ . Disney art is so amazing in that it can be quite complicated and whimsical at the same time. Always full of memories.
