Boardwalk Bakery Closed For Refurbishment
A heads up to those of you whose Disney plans include Disney's BoardWalk Inn: The Boardwalk Bakery will be closed for a major refurbishment soon.
The bakery, which is set to be closed as of January 6, is undergoing a transformation that's said to include a new entrance way, a new queue and the addition of a new refillable mug station. In addition, the bakery's menu will be expanded to include more grub besides baked goods (think sandwiches, soups and salads).
For those of you needing a baked goodie fix, there is a temporary location on the Boardwalk just opposite of the bakery; selection of goods is limited.
Look for the Boardwalk Bakery to reopen April 27.

Thank goodness its reopening date is April 27! We were going to stay there the week of April 29th! Is there any chance the re-opening will be delayed or is Disney good with sticking to scheduled reopening dates??

The Bakery gods must be mad at me, I'll be at the Boardwalk on the Jan-21, and OKW the week before. I believe Main Street bakery will be closed at that time too.
