Celebration, Florida, has been named to Forbes' Top 10 Prettiest Neighborhood List.
The Disney-planned and built community exudes a "small-town America feel," according to Forbes, thanks in part to its parks, places of worship, restaurants and shops. Forbes goes on to say that Celebration, while technically a town, is a throwback "to a time and place that may or may not have existed, but through force of will and careful planning, does now."
Says Mark Sedenquist, publisher of Roadtrip America.com: "This is a slightly 'Twilight Zone' neighborhood. It's Norman Rockwell in the gator swamps, and the houses are beautiful!"

We really need to find time one of these trips to drive through the town. I sounds really nice.

Sounds so beautiful! I haven't ever been to Celebration, I keep hoping that someday I'll get to move there though.

We go to Celebrations at least once a month and it is a must see for visitors. The homes are beautiful while driving into the town. We always eat at the Towne Tavern and the food is great. There are a few cute stores in the town but don't expect any major shopping. If you are in town around Christmas, I would suggest you plan a night to visit, have a glass of wine and watch the snowflakes fall!!!
