There are just a couple weeks until the D23 Expo 2015 kicks off at the Anaheim Convention Center and Disney fans are eagerly anticipating announcements about the future of the Disney theme parks, movies, and more.
In years past the D23 Expo was where we first heard about the construction of "new" Fantasyland, new film franchises, and even new merchandise. This year might be when we hear about plans for Disney's Hollywood Studios. And fans will certainly learn more about the upcoming film slate.
On Friday, August 14, Expo attendees can attend the 'Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios: The Upcoming Films' panel hosted by John Lasseter. The panel will cover the upcoming slate of films including Finding Dory, The Good Dinosaur, Zootopia, and Moana.
The panel 'Worlds, Galaxies, and Universes: Live Action at the Walt Disney Studios' is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, and it's a good bet that this panel is all about Star Wars. Maybe a new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will debut at the Expo?
And let's not forget the 'Walt Disney Parks and Resorts' panel, also on August 15. This is where we might finally hear the new name for Disney's Hollywood Studios in addition to the plans for this park's future. In other words, maybe we'll finally get confirmation about an expanded Star Wars presence at the theme park that was teased at the Expo two years ago.
What news do you hope to hear from this year's D23 Expo? Leave us a comment and let us know.

I hope someone voices an objection to the Parks & Resorts panel against any idea of removing One Man's Dream from Hollywood Studios.
