For the past couple of years there has been an unofficial yet very fashionable event happening at the Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, and Disneyland Paris. It's called Dapper Day and it's a chance for attendees to look their best while visiting the parks.
Those participating in Dapper Day are encouraged to dress in sophisticated fashion - from vintage to contemporary styles - and active or retired military are encouraged to wear their dress uniforms.
Dapper Day participants visit the park of their choice - in Orlando, Los Angeles, or Paris " and spend the day riding the attractions and acting like tourists. They're just very sharply dressed tourists.
The Dapper Day events aren't private functions, and the group that puts on this event says they usually arrange special group-rate park tickets and discounted Disneyland Resort Hotel rooms that are available through DapperDay.com.
The Dapper Day Fall Soiree is planned for September 6 at Disneyland Resort, September 14 at Disneyland Paris, and September 21 at Walt Disney World Resort.

I so wish that I could attend this event - I would love it. A new point on my bucket list I think.

The local Minor League baseball team does something like this too, but they call it "Hipster Night", but the outfits are very similar to those in the picture.
