This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and we have some exciting new details about food, beverages, and special events. In addition to food and beverages, there are also new acts performing at the Eat to the Beat concerts and more!
The Scotland Booth will be serving up an all-new beverage, the Scottish Citrus Thistle while the Canada Booth is ready to serve fan-favorite Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup.
New dishes coming to the Festival this year include Pepper Bacon Mac 'n Cheese at the Farm Fresh Booth, Grilled Sweet and Spicy Bush Berry Shrimp with Pineapple, Peppers, Onions, and Snap Peas at the Australia Booth, and Seared Venison Loin with Wild Mushroom Ragout and Kumara Dumpling from the New Zealand Booth.
A new premium event, the French Family Meal Traditions Lunch, is planned for Fridays and Sundays this year in addition to a new premium party, the Rockin' Burger Block Party which will be held on select dates to be announced later.
If you're looking to rock out at the Eat to the Beat Concerts you can enjoy new acts including Tiffany, Everclear, Maxi Priest, and Chaka Khan. "Old" favorites including Wilson Phillips, Smash Mouth, The Pointer Sisters, Jo Dee Messina, Boyz II Men, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy are also part of the lineup.
Celebrity chefs including Cat Cora, Robert Irvine, Jamie Dee, Rock Harper, Kenny Gilbert, and "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro are scheduled to return for low cost culinary demos. Chef and cookbook author John Ash is also planning to return. Ash first appeared at the Festival in 1996.
And everyone's favorite rat chef Remy is coming to the Festival this year for Remy's Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt. This hunt is for kids of all ages and takes place in World Showcase. Guests will receive special maps and stickers for the hunt and might even win prizes.
This fall also marks the return of the popular Ocean Spray Cranberry Bog which was absent from the festival in 2014.

I really hope they bring back the premium package with special areas and service during the week.

Here's to hoping the "Cake Boss" crew are appearing early in the festival, not when we are there. They were on our Disney Cruise and it was awful- they were obnoxious. The entire trip was all about making sure we avoided wherever on the ship they were. Excited to see some new treats added to returning old favorites! This is our favorite event at WDW!

Um this all sounds amazing but I think it has to be Seared Venison Loin.... NOT lion lol. I don't think Disney is okay with serving lion. :P

We always look forward to the food from Italy and the margarita's from Mexico. The new Scottish drink sounds good too.
