Earth Day is tomorrow and Disney's Animal Kingdom is ready to celebrate with the annual Party for the Planet with interactive activities, special merchandise, and more. The celebration also includes two special research stations at Rafiki's Planet Watch and at the main entrance to the theme park.
These exclusive research stations will let guests see behind-the-scenes footage from Disneynature's Monkey Kingdom and get a look at the technology scientists are using to study animals. The stations will be showcasing tools that were used during the production of Monkey Kingdom.
This Earth Day celebration is presented in partnership with Hewlett-Packard and Conservation International.
Guests can visit Rafiki's Planet Watch by traveling via the Wildlife Express Train at Disney's Animal Kingdom. At Rafiki's Planet Watch visitors can learn about the conservations efforts led by the nonprofits that are supported by the Disney Conservation Fund.
The fund also recently opened a new gallery to showcase the work that is supported by the Fund.
