A new festival is coming to Epcot in January 2017 featuring art, performance, and food. And, if you're looking for a respite from the crowds at the Magic Kingdom you might want to check out the new cabanas they're adding. It's all in today's' news report.
Disney has announced the Epcot International Festival of the Arts which will be held Fridays through Mondays from January 13 through February 20.
This new festival will feature works from Disney artists of past and present including Mary Blair, Herb Ryman, Joe Kaminski, and Costa Alavezos.
A collaboration with Disney Theatrical will bring music and Broadway talent to the America Gardens Theater stage with performances from The Lion King, Newsies, and Aladdin.
The festival will also feature Food Studios, which will serve up food that "look almost too good to eat."
And if you find yourself in need of a break at the Magic Kingdom, you can rent a private, shaded cabana in Tomorrowland for $691 plus tax. These cabanas fit up to eight guests and include storage, charging stations, sunscreen and bug spray, water, soft drinks, and food.
The cabanas are available for the entire day.
We'd love to hear your thoughts on the new Epcot art festival and the cabanas at the Magic Kingdom. Leave a comment and let us know what you're thinking.
