Guests visiting Downtown Disney won't have to search high and low for the four Disney food trucks anymore. The trucks are now located in their dedicated space, Exposition Park, in Downtown Disney's Westside.
The Exposition Park area is near Bongo's Cuban Cafe and Starbucks.
The four Disney food trucks are: Namaste Cafe, serving flavors from Disney's Animal Kingdom; Superstar Catering offering items from Disney's Hollywood Studios; Fantasy Fare, serving items from the Magic Kingdoms; and World Showcase of Flavors which features favorites from Epcot's Food and Wine Festival.
The menu items include the hand-dipped corn dog from Disneyland Park, butter chicken from the menu at Sanaa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, a slow cooked pot roast sandwich, which is a nod to the items at the 50s Prime Time Cafe, and grass-fed beef sliders which are a fan favorite from the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.
Since the food trucks are mobile, guests might still find them at other locations around the Walt Disney World Resort, but Exposition Park is their home base and it's where they'll be located most of the time. As an added bonus, guests might also see other Orlando-area food trucks in Exposition Park from time to time.
Exposition Park also includes tables and chairs and high-top tables where you can enjoy your food truck eats. You'll have a great view of Characters in Flight and the waterfront area of Downtown Disney as you enjoy your meal.
The Downtown Disney food trucks normally open at 1 p.m. or 4 p.m. based on crowd levels in Downtown Disney and they close down at 11 p.m. Guests can use the Disney Dining Plan to purchase items at the Disney Food Trucks.
Have you had a chance to eat at any of the Disney Food Trucks? What is your favorite dish? Let us know in the comments!
