If you've ever wanted to learn how to decorate a cake like the pros at Amorette's Patisserie, now you can thanks to a new cake decorating experience. The cake decorating at Amorette's Patisserie is every Friday morning from March 31 through May 15. Guests can enjoy beverages (including mimosas and more if you're over 21) and learn how to decorate a dome cake. Price is $129 plus tax for two guests. Learn more here.
Academy Award winning actress Reese Witherspoon hosted the ribbon cutting ceremony at the official grand opening of Planet Hollywood Observatory in Disney Springs.
The 'Road to the Races' nationwide tour for Cars 3 kicked off this week at Disney Springs! The special event will include activities for the whole family, a special sneak peek of Cars 3, and photo opportunities with three life-size character cars.
A new limited-time live concert, 'The Music of Pixar Live! A Symphony of Characters' is coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios this summer. The nighttime concert will feature music from Disney/Pixar films including Toy Story, Finding Nemo, and more; appearances from Pixar characters; and much more.
Special Extra Magic Hours are coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom this summer after Pandora - The World of Avatar opens. Guests at Disney World Resort hotels will have two hours each night from 11 p.m. until 1 a.m. from May 27 through July 4 to enjoy that area of the theme park.
And finally, the board of directors for The Walt Disney Company have extended the contract of Bob Iger, Chairman and CEO, through July 2, 2019. Iger was originally set to retire in June of 2018, but insiders say there is no heir apparent to take over when he does retire.
