Happy Wednesday! In today's news we're talking about the new e-book from our friends at the Disney Food Blog, Easter happenings at Walt Disney World Resort, and a new fundraiser for Star Wars: Force For Change. Let's check it out!
Our friends at the Disney Food Blog recently launched the 2017-18 edition of the DFB Guide to Epcot Snacks e-book! This fully updated e-book features information on more than 400 Epcot snacks including photos, prices, locations, and Disney Dining Plan snack credit status. To celebrate the launch of the DFB Guide to Epcot Snacks, you can get 25% off the cover price if you use the code Epcot17 at checkout.
If you're making plans to be at Disney World during Easter we have some information for you! Disney's Contemporary Resort will host three Easter Sunday services. A Catholic Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., and a Protestant service is planned at 9 a.m. All services will take place in the Fantasia Ballroom.
In the theme parks, guests can meet Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny in the Town Square courtyard at the Magic Kingdom through April 16. There is also a DJ Dance Party in Tomorrowland at 3 and 11 p.m. through April 20, and an Easter-themed pre-parade before the Festival of Fantasy Parade through April 20.
A new Star Wars: Force For Change initiative kicked off this week through a partnership with Omaze. Fans can enter the fundraiser contest through early May for a chance to win prizes that celebrate the past, present and future of Star Wars. Prizes include a stay at the Skywalker Ranch, an invite to the premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and a chance to be in the new, unnamed Han Solo film. One fan will win all three prizes. Enter here.
And finally, Walt Disney World Resort is planning to hire 1,000 new cast members this spring. Full- and part-time position at the theme parks, resort hotels, and water parks are set to be filled.
We'd love to hear your thoughts on today's news stories. Leave us a comment and let us know what you think.
