Happy Friday! Welcome to our end-of-the-week Disney news round-up. Today we're talking about some Disney resort restaurant news, the Television Hall of Fame at Disney's Hollywood Studios, more accolades for Disney Cruise Line, and much more.
Victoria & Albert's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa was recently named the No. 2 fine dining restaurant in the United States in Trip Advisor's 2016 Travelers' Choice Awards.
Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa recently closed for a two-month refurbishment. The quick service spot is slated to reopen on December 15. In the meantime guests can visit Mizner's Lounge for grab-and-go items, the Grand Floridian Cafe for a to-go menu, and Beaches Pool Bar for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
You'll want to check out the Happy Hour menu at Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar in Disney Springs every Monday through Friday from 3-6:30 p.m. While you're there check out the seasonal menu with new food and drinks including Junior's Thanksgiving Flatbread and two new drinks: Autumn Smash and the Smoking Bullet.
Speaking of Disney Springs, the Coca-Cola Polar Bear is now meeting guests at the Coca-Cola Store every day from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m.
Over at Disney's Hollywood Studios, The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame is being removed. The area will reportedly be home to a new food and beverage marketplace. The celebrity busts will be returned to the Academy.
And finally, Disney Cruise Line was recently named the Best Cruise Line in the 29th annual Conde Nast Readers' Choice Awards.
