Happy Tuesday and welcome to another Disney news round-up! Today we're checking out the commemorative merchandise for Epcot's 35th anniversary, news about the track for the new Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster at Hollywood Studios, and much more!
Epcot is celebrating its 35th anniversary this fall and Disney gave guests a sneak peek at some of the commemorative merchandise that will be available this fall! The retro-inspired merchandise has a vintage look and features colors from the original five colors used at EPCOT Center: purple, pink, red, orange, and gold.
The merchandise includes apparel, glassware, hats, coffee mugs, Dooney & Bourke handbags, and more and will be released in September.
The final piece of track was installed for the Slinky Dog Dash coaster in Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The family-friendly coaster and the rest of Toy Story Land will open in the summer of 2018.
The new Minnie Van service is available at the Walt Disney World Resort. Currently guests at Disney's BoardWalk Resort and Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts can utilize the service, which is run in collaboration with Lyft.
Disney Cruise Line is adjusting its cancellation policy effective August 15. The fees for 5-night sailings begin at 89 days instead of 74, and 104 days for holiday sailings.
And finally, August 19 is Disney PhotoPass Day and guests at the Disney Parks can enjoy special character experiences and photo opportunities.
