Happy Tuesday! We have another round of news and rumors in the round-up today including an update about the Magic Kingdom's Hall of Presidents, a rumor about a dark ride coming to Epcot's France Pavilion, and much more.
It's official. Disney has announced that Donald Trump will have a speaking role in the Hall of Presidents attraction when it reopens later this year. The attraction was slated to reopen by July 4 but that has been delayed.
A new collection of commemorative merchandise for Happily Ever After is available at the Magic Kingdom. The collection includes apparel, drinkware, and even an open-edition pin (which will be available later this summer).
Guests at the BoardWalk Inn and Villas can participate in a morning yoga session from 8:15-8:45 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. The sessions are limited to the first 20 guests. Namaste.
It looks like the Club 33 Lounge at Epcot might be coming to the American Adventure Pavilion. There's no official word yet but construction walls are up in the pavilion.
A father-daughter Disney World vacation has cost a British man more than $200,000 in legal fees and fines. The man was originally fined for taking his daughter out of school for vacation but the ensuing legal battle went on for several years.
A hand-drawn map of Disneyland, created by Walt Disney and Herb Ryman, recently sold for $708,000 at auction. The map is one of the most expensive Disneyland pieces ever sold at auction.
And finally, there's a rumor out there that Epcot's France Pavilion might be getting a Ratatouille attraction. Disney recently filed a permit with the South Florida Water Management District for work in the backstage area of Epcot. Again, no official word from Disney on what the permit is for.
