Happy middle of the week! We're just about a month away from the opening of Star Wars: The Last Jedi and today's news round-up is one with the Force. We have details on Star Wars Galactic Nights, Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, and more.
Star Wars Galactic Nights is a one-night only event on December 16 at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Guests will have a chance to see celebrities including Warwick Davis and others; catch an "Inside Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge" panel discussion with members of the Walt Disney Imagineering and Lucasfilm team; and more. Tickets are still available for the event.
The event is December 16 from 7 p.m.-midnight. Tickets are priced at $129 for adults and $124 ages 3-9. Call 407-W-DISNEY for details.
We're seeing reports that when Star Tours: The Adventures Continue reopens this week at Disney's Hollywood Studios guests will only be able to experience scenes and characters from Episodes VII and VIII and that these characters and scenes won't mix with those from Episodes I through VI. There are also reports that eventually guests can choose one version with "older" characters or this new, updated version.
There is a funny story out in the interwebs about Mark Hamill trolling the Porg haters (Porgs are the cute new characters in The Last Jedi). You just need to check it out.
Speaking of The Last Jedi, it's still dominating social media as the film's premiere gets closer and closer.
And if you're getting ready for the opening night screening of The Last Jedi you should check out these Star Wars Gift Guides from our pals at Mickey Fix. There's a must-have Star Wars T-shirts gift guide and a top 10 Star Wars must-haves gift guide! We also created a gift guide for WDW for Grownups.
