As construction continues on Pandora: The World of AVATAR at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney recently released a new artist rendering of the family-friendly attraction Na'vi River Journey. This is just one of the attractions planned for the new land based on the Oscar-winning film AVATAR.
Pandora: The World of AVATAR is being built in the former location of Camp Minnie-Mickey between Africa and the Oasis at the Animal Kingdom.
The Na'vi River Journey will take guests in canoes down a mysterious and sacred river hidden in the bioluminescent rainforest of Pandora. Guests will encounter a Na'vi shaman who sends out positive energy to the forest through her music.
Pandora: The World of AVATAR will also feature floating mountains like those seen in the film, 3D projections, and a military base camp.
This new land at Disney's Animal Kingdom is scheduled to open in 2017.
What are your thoughts about Pandora: The World of AVATAR? Let us know in the comments.

I know that this is a super controversial addition, but I'm really looking forward to having more to do at this great Park.

Installing the missing Beastly Kingdom section could add dramatically towards making AK an all day park. I'm not a fan of Pandora but I'm sure it will be spectacular..... And crowded if that is the bulk of evening attraction.
