Sure, it's only mid-September and we just started celebrating Halloween at Disney World but today we're talking about the winter holiday season! Disney has just release a ton of information about what's coming to the parks and resorts for the holidays!
Disney's Hollywood Studios is celebrating the holidays with new experiences and decorations this year. The new Sunset Seasons Greetings includes projections of Disney characters on the Hollywood Tower Hotel and holiday decorations on Sunset Boulevard.
The Echo Lake area will also be decorated in all new "enhanced" decor including extra-large ornaments, garlands, and a giant Christmas tree. Gertie the Dinosaur will also be showing off a new Santa hat.
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! returns this year along with its accompanying dessert party, both beginning November 9.
Other events at the Studios include Minnie's Holiday Dine from November 6 through January 7, and the return of Santa on November 9.
Epcot is celebrating the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays from November 9 through December 30. This Festival will include 15 Holiday Kitchens, Chip & Dale's Christmas Tree Spree, the Candlelight Processional, new holiday entertainment in World Showcase, and more.
At the Magic Kingdom the holiday celebrations will include A Frozen Holiday Wish beginning November 9, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party starting November 9, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade (during the party and daily from December 23-31), and Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration from December 23-31.
Disney's Animal Kingdom holiday celebrations include Tree of Life transformation, an animal-themed holiday tree, and more.
Guests at Disney Springs will find a bigger Christmas Tree Trail, Santa's Chalet, and Stitch's Gift Hunt.
And don't forget, several of the Resort hotels will have gingerbread displays including the Grand Floridian, the Contemporary, Beach Club, and Yacht Club.
Three all-new New Year's Eve celebrations are planned at the Contemporary including: Disney Countdown to Midnight, Pixar Party, and Down in New Orleans: A Disney New Year's Eve Dining Experience.
