Disney has some nice discounts coming up for those who serve in this country's military for both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Those in the military (including both active and retired members of the U.S. Coast Guard, National Guard and Reservists) and their families can benefit from discounts on resort stays and park tickets with purchase dates from August 17 of this year through September 25, 2013 and travel beginning October 1, 2012.

I love that Disney does this for military families.

I married into an Air Force family where everyone is a member (except for my spouse ;) ). My niece is two and her parents don't like the parks, but they live in Florida, so they'll get use of it eventually...

We would use them, but the free dining program is a better deal for us, because we seem to always go during the holidays. Now when we go to the flower and garden festival we would use our discount.
I always find planning and comparing the best way to do Disney, no matter what plan or special you use.
Disney does give the military great deals and I our travel offices are full of people taking advantage of the discounts.
Thank you Disney.

Its time for the Vacation, thanks to Disney for such discount. Although the Military officers deserve these discounts but it would be great if the civilians could also be benefited with some discounts.

Hi Kenneth! Disney offers many discounts all through the year that anyone can take part in. Some recent promotions have included free dining, 5 nights for the price of 3, 10-30% hotel rooms on bounceback offers, discounted cruises, and DVC Membership. There's always some sort of discount promotion going on, you just need to look for it!
Ticket discounts can be hard to find, but check out our friends at Maple Leaf Tickets to see if they offer something that would help you out.
