For folks who love to hit the parks and don't spend much time at their hotel during vacation, Disney's Value resorts are fantastic. But what if you're looking to slow down, and take it easy? Can you even do that at Walt Disney World? I say you can, and that Disney's Deluxe Resorts are the perfect place to escape for a relaxed and luxurious grown up vacation.
These resorts all have interior entrances and each room has a private balcony or patio. With the largest standard rooms on Disney property, many rooms can accommodate a family of five. Deluxe Resorts are well appointed with furniture that highlights the overall theme, plush luxury linens, and ample toiletries by H2O+.
Each Disney Deluxe hotel property offers at least two table service restaurants, one of which is a Disney signature dining experience. They also feature a counter service establishment as well as a full service lounge and a pool bar. All of these properties also have extensive private dining menus. Breakfast in bed? No problem! Disney's Beach Club offers a Family Style Breakfast that can be delivered right to your room, and Animal Kingdom Lodge has some of the best stuffed French toast ever.
Unique pool areas with luxurious landscaping and thematic water elements. My two favorite Deluxe Pools are Animal Kingdom Lodge and Wilderness Lodge, both offer pools designed to look like they're in natural settings with fun slides and beautiful views. They have tranquil hot tubs and top notch poolside bars.
Guests staying in rooms on the club levels get concierge services and custom itinerary planning, as well as access to the concierge lounge where a wide variety of food and beverages are served throughout the day. Mousekeeping on club level leaves a wider selection of toiletries and offers nightly turn down service.
Most Deluxe Disney hotels offer a variety of transportation options around the WDW property. If the bus isn't quite your style, why not take a boat, or even a monorail to get where you're going? You may not be able to avoid the bus all together, but more options offer a little more luxury magic.
In addition to all this Deluxe Disney Properties offer free wi-fi as well as cabled high speed internet access, a business services center, laundry services, and valet parking. Several of the resorts offer kids clubs or baby sitting services, as well as a spa or fitness & massage center. They've thought of just about everything
Overall Disney's Deluxe Resorts offer a board range of services and amenities that will delight any guest looking to kick back and take full advantage of everything this luxury hotels can offer. Do you enjoy staying at Disney's Deluxe properties? Which one is your favorite? Leave a comment and let me know!

I love the Poly - pure and simple. I got married there so its partly sentimental reasons I guess. But I love the fact that you have all forms of Disney transportation right on your doorstep! Both routes of the monorail, 2 types of boat, buses and your own car. Plus you can walk to the Grand Floridian! I also love Wilderness Lodge so that would be my second choice!!!

Thanks for all the great info. We are staying Club Level at the PolynesiN in November. My 8 year old son chose it for the volcano pool.

I am a DVC owner with points at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Beach Club Villas and Boardwalk Villas. I love them all but prefer Animal Kingdom. I love the ambiance, the restaurants, and especially the feeling I am away from the craziness in a beautiful remote setting. I love the Lodge there.

The Yacht and Beach Club is great. It is close to the rear entrance of Epcot, the pool is fantastic and the Boardwalk is so much fun at night. Also has a nice tennis court!

We're staying at the AKL - Kidani Village this Christmas but love the Poly and Wilderness Lodge as well. Can't wait till we can use our DVC membership at the Grand Floridian. I'm not too sure about the contemporary.... what are people's thoughts on their rooms?

I haven't stayed at the Contemporary since I was a little girl. I keep trying to, but somehow when I book there something always happens and I have to cancel. LOL!
