Enchanted Tales with Belle Wins a Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement

Enchanted Tales with Belle was recently awarded a Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement by the Themed Entertainment Association.

The award recognizes excellence for the creation of compelling education, historical, and entertainment projects.

Enchanted Tales with Belle is the interactive meet and greet located in New Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom. Guests are magically transported from Maurice's cottage to Beast's library for a storytelling experience with Belle. During the storytelling, guests might also have a chance to play a role in the story.

The annual Thea Awards recognize accomplishments and achievements in projects that "demonstrate the power that creation of compelling places and experiences can have on the guest and visitor experience," according to the TEA website.

Disney was also honored with an outstanding achievement award for Mystic Manor in Hong Kong Disneyland, and with a Thea Classic Award for the Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland.

This is such a cool new attraction, the queue is beautiful, but I wish that it were covered or shaded somehow, maybe had an interactive element.
