Epcot to Celebrate World Oceans Day Friday

Guests can head over to The Seas with Nemo and Friends at Epcot on Friday, June 8, to participate in Disney's observation of World Oceans Day.

There's a good variety of activities planned for the day. Guests will be able to learn how marine mammals (think manatees and dolphins) are important to the ocean ecosystem and what adaptations sharks use to survive. In addition, guests can follow a sea turtle's jaunt from hatching in its nest to arriving at the ocean. World Oceans Day will also give guests an opportunity to learn what the researchers at Disney are participating in the protection of coral reefs.
