Favorite All-American Eats and Drinks to Celebrate the Fourth of July at Disney World

Happy almost Fourth of July! One of our favorite parts of any Fourth of July celebration is the food. Traditional "all-American" eats include burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, BBQ ribs, and of course anything red, white, and blue. If you happen to be celebrating at Disney World we have some suggestions for all-American eats and drinks!

If you're idea of a perfect Fourth of July meal is a hot dog, you'll want to stop at Casey's Corner at the Magic Kingdom. This is our go-to spot for hot dogs when visiting Disney World. Not only will you find the classic dog on the menu but you'll also find some specialty dogs including one topped with shredded BBQ pork, one topped with mac and cheese, and a chili cheese dog.

You could also choose our personal favorite and order up some corn dog nuggets and fries. And don't forget the Cracker Jack for dessert!

Speaking of corn dogs (we can't resist!), make sure you stop by Sleepy Hollow Refreshments and order a hand-dipped corn dog! This new-to-the-park item has been getting some great reviews!

Another holiday cookout favorite is the hamburger (or cheeseburger) and you'll find a few really great burger options at Disney World! Last year Disney opened D-Luxe Burger at Disney Springs and this is our go-to spot for a delish burger, hand-cut fries (with dipping sauces!!), and of course artisanal shakes.

Over at Beaches and Cream at Disney's Beach Club Resort you can order a really good burger and fries. And of course finish the meal with some killer ice cream sundae choices.

If your traditional cookout features BBQ of some sort and you're looking for that at Disney we will always recommend Flame Tree Barbecue at Disney's Animal Kingdom. It's truly one of the best counter service spots on property. The food is great and the themeing is clever. And, the views aren't too shabby either.

No All-American food round-up is complete without fried chicken. And right now there's one place at Disney World where you MUST go for great fried chicken: Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' Florida Kitchen, located in Disney Springs.

The fried chicken here is buttermilk brined for a full 24 hours and then deep fried and garnished with Homecomin's famous hot sauce.

You'll also want to get dessert here. We suggest a slice of Shine Cake and a slice of Hummingbird Cake.

No July 4 cookout is complete without dessert (we usually go for s'mores at home) and there's no shortage of great "All-American" sweets at Disney.
Some of our favorites include the American Dream at Epcot's American Adventure Pavilion (blue and red slushes with vanilla soft serve) and the red, white, and blue vanilla macaron ice cream sandwich at L'Artisans des Glaces (if it's on the menu).

If you're at the Magic Kingdom we suggest stopping at The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor for the All-American Sundae (how fitting!). Choose your ice cream flavor and it's topped with hot fudge AND peanut butter sauce, whipped cream, chocolate and peanut butter chips, and a cherry.

Happy Fourth of July! We hope you have a safe and delicious holiday!
