Sometimes overlooked these days, we think DisneyQuest is a great place to spend a rainy day, or just a couple hours in the afternoon or evening.
Located at Downtown Disney's West Side, DisneyQuest is convenient to restaurants and shopping, and it's open fairly late " Sunday to Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
If you opt for the Water Park Fun & More option on your Disney World ticket package or get the Premium Annual Pass, then entrance into DisneyQuest is included. You can also get an annual pass just for DisneyQuest.
Otherwise, expect to pay $36-$42 for entrance into the indoor theme park. Depending on daily attendance levels, late-night tickets are sometimes sold for half-price two hours prior to closing each night.
Here's some of our favorite attractions:
CyberSpace Mountain: Design your own roller coaster, then ride it! Mild or wild, you can add loops, corkscrews, hill and more.
Virtual Jungle Cruise: Grab a paddle and a seat on a real raft, then paddle your way through a jungle river -- in the dinosaur age! This fast-paced attraction is fun for a group to do together.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Buccaneer Gold: Arr, mateys! If you couldn't make it to the "Toy Story Mania FastPass Dash" (or TSMFPD, as we've just dubbed it) at the rope drop of Hollywood Studios, then this is a really fun alternative. It even uses the same style of shooters as Toy Story Mania.
Classic arcade games: If you were a child of the 1980s, this will be your favorite. Play as much Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Frogger, Tron, Centipede, Joust, Asteroids and more as you want, no quarters needed!

I love the Bumper Car game attraction. just wish they would update DQ...it needs an entire redo, a LOT of stuff is broken down or outdated already.

I liked the roller coaster design one and the bumper cars best, but I agree with caiti - we stopped going a few years ago because it just seemed run down, broken and outdated and not worth the money.

I have actually never been but I'll go on my next trip - I think the Virtual Jungle Cruise sounds great fun!

Caitie and Jeff -- I noticed some attractions that definitely needed some upkeep myself. I'd love to see a Tron attraction myself -- it makes so much sense!
Pegosaurus -- I was HORRIBLE at the Virtual Jungle Cruise but it was a lot of fun!
