When it comes to grabbing a quick bite to eat at the Magic Kingdom there is no shortage of good (and even great) places to dine. Whether you're looking for a hot dog and fries, or a good cheeseburger, or even a steak sandwich served in a beast's ballroom, you won't go hungry in the Magic Kingdom.
And since there are so many choices in one park, it seemed like a good idea to list our seven favorite counter service spots in the park. Why just seven? Well, Snow White only had seven dwarfs so it sounded like a good number.
So without further ado, let's talk about quick service dining at the Magic Kingdom and see if any of your favorite spots made our list.
One of my favorite quick service spots has to be Casey's Corner. Located at the end of Main Street U.S.A., Casey's is a very popular spot for good food and great outdoor seating with views of the castles (and the parades if you're lucky!). Of course one of the best things about Casey's was the hot cheese sauce for the French fries, but alas Disney has done away with the golden "plastic" cheese. But there's still sauerkraut for the hot dogs!
Located just across Main Street U.S.A. from Casey's is a great place to find hand-scooped ice cream and sundaes. I'm talking about the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor and if you're eating dinner at Casey's be sure you save room for dessert. If you happen to be walking down Main Street toward the hub you'll likely smell the waffle cones and get caught up in the ever-present crowd of people who want ice cream.
The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor is home to several of my favorite sundaes at Walt Disney World including the Plaza Ice Cream Sundae, the All-American Sundae, and Mickey's Kitchen Sink Sundae. Seating near the ice cream shop is at a premium but if you're patient, you're bound to find somewhere to stand or sit to enjoy your ice cream.
My new favorite quick service spot is definitely Be Our Guest. The lunch we enjoyed there last summer is still one of my favorite counter service meals at Disney (maybe ever) and it's not just because of the food. From the moment you walk into Be Our Guest you feel as if you've stepped into Beauty and the Beast.
The food at Be Our Guest for breakfast and lunch is a step above the "normal" quick service food one expects at Disney World. And if you're dining at lunch you can even enjoy the Grey Stuff on the Master's Cupcake. Advance Dining Reservations are strongly encouraged for breakfast and lunch at Be Our Guest.
Back in Fantasyland there's an almost "hidden gem" when it comes to quick service dining and that would be Pinocchio Village Haus. The food here is consistently good and the decor is really quite lovely. Every room is themed after a character from the film, from Fiagro to Monstro, and there's even a Stromboli room (the biggest dining area). You'll want to check out the murals on the walls too.
Of course the best seats in the Haus have to be those overlooking the loading area for it's a small world. It's so much fun to wave at the guests as you nosh on a flatbread pizza or some of the yummy pesto knots!
Sitting across from the Haunted Mansion is one of my all-time favorite quick service spots in any of the theme parks. Of course I'm talking about Columbia Harbour House. You can't miss this spot as there is often a cast member out front ringing the bells, luring hungry guests inside. Once inside you'll notice how huge the restaurant is, two stories of great seating space.
But the food is the real draw and here you'll find some of the best fried fish this side of Epcot's Yorkshire County Fish Shop. Once you have your meal I recommend heading upstairs to find a great place to sit. Try to grab a window seat and watch the world go by below. It's a great place to get a glimpse of the Haunted Mansion or the Liberty Belle Riverboat.
If you're looking for a great burger I'd recommend moseying over to Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe located at the corner of Adventureland and Frontierland. The regulars call this place Pecos Bill's and a fun fact about this quick service spot is you'll see different decor depending on which door you enter. From Adventureland you'll see a Caribbean-style sign while the folks from Adventureland will spot a "wild west" sign.
The food is the real winner here though, especially if you're a fan of really big cheeseburgers. The 1/3 pound Deluxe Angus Cheeseburger is sure to quite any rumbling in your tummy. Other great choices include the Deluxe Chicken Sandwich or the Barbecued Pork Sandwich.
I've already mentioned one of my favorite quick spots for a sweet treat, but I've saved the best for last. Aloha Isle is always (always!) a must-do when it comes to dining at Disney World. There's no way I can miss a Dole Whip Float. The menu at Aloha Isle is rather simple: you can order a Dole Whip or you can order a Dole Whip Float. There are a few other items (beverages) on the menu, but they aren't important.
It's all about the Dole Whip. And don't forget: Aloha Isle switched spots with the Sunshine Tree Terrace earlier this year so you'll find this quintessential Disney snack near Aladdin's Magic Carpets.
There are several other quick service spots that are worth your dining dollars at the Magic Kingdom, so leave us a comment and let us know: what is your favorite quick service restaurant in the Magic Kingdom? We can't wait to see your answers!
Many thanks to the Disney Food Blog for use of their photos.

Have always enjoyed Columbia Harbour House but the menu online has changed and chicken platter not on it. Looking forward to trying Pecos Bill's and village House next month.

My favorite was the Main Street Bakery, but I understand that it is just coffee now, so I will go with Pinocchio's Village Haus.
