It's almost time again for the art world to descend upon Downtown Disney and show off their vision and creativity. The Festival of the Masters presented by Michaels is happening Nov. 9 through 11, 2012. This vibrant, open-air art festival held each fall features more than 200 award-winning artists from across the country. The world-renowned show is a highly anticipated annual event for guests, artists, collectors and art lovers alike.
This Annual Event Includes:
Whether you are looking for spectacular piece for your personal collection, or just want to soak up the magic, you'll discover a variety of delightful experiences making the Downtown Disney area come alive with vibrant culture.
While you're there you can even take a flight on the new Characters in Flight balloon! The tethered helium balloon features a fresh design, including a red, yellow and blue color scheme, adorned with a new set of flying characters: Tinker Bell, Peter Pan, Buzz Lightyear, Dumbo, Jasmine and Aladdin. From 400 ft. up in the air, guests get a breathtaking 360-degree view of Walt Disney World Resort for approximately 8 - 10 minutes. The daily hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. to midnight, weather permitting.
Do you love art? Do you love Disney? What could possibly be better than a weekend full of unique art at Disney! One of these years I'll plan my trip just to get down for this event. Have you been to the Festival of Masters? Did you buy anything wonderful? Leave a comment and tell me all about it!

Nice. One year at WDW, there was an artist that incorporated Mickey walking on tha streets of Hollywood Studios. I did not purchase it. I am still regretting that decision. So, if you like it.....buy it! You may never see it again.
