Food at Disney World is an attraction in and of itself for many guests; here are some food news tidbits from around WDW.
First up are snacks. It looks like fans of the sweet cream cheese-filled pretzel can now get their fix at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The pretzels can be found on the Streets of America at the Pretzel Garden. Next, guests can use a Disney Dining Plan snack credit (or pay $3.19) to grab a Citrus Swirl. This sweet twist of vanilla soft-serve ice cream and frozen orange juice can be found in the Magic Kigndom's Sunshine Tree Terrace.
Next, Epcot's popular Le Cellier Steakhouse has changed its lunch menu. New items on it include: Duck Confit Crepe, Fried Rock Shrimp, Tomato Salad, Miso-glazed Salmon, Roasted Chicken "Cordon Blue," BLT Salmon Sliders, Le Cellier House Burger, Grilled Pork Chop, and Green Beans with Grape Tomatoes. While new items were added, some of the lunch menu's items had to be removed to make room; those items no longer on the lunch menu at Le Cellier include: Roasted Duck Meatballs, Crab and Spinach Gratin, Tomato Stack, Maple Glazed Salmon, Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken, Le Cellier Steak and Potato Skillet, Korean Barbecue Beef Skewer, Chicken Crepe, and Brussels Sprouts with Bacon Butter.
In addition to Le Cellier, Epcot's Rose & Crown Dining Room also has updated its lunch and dinner menu. Guests can no longer order Potato Leek Soup, Sunday Dinner, and Bangers & Mash for dinner, but can sample the Ploughman's Lunch and Cottage Pie (two dishes that were absent from the menu for a time). To cap off the meal, there are several new desserts.
