Four road projects were recently approved for the Walt Disney World Resort. The Reedy Creek Improvement District has approved a $355 million package for the projects which are expected to be completed by 2018.
Included in the improvement projects is an overpass over the Magic Kingdom toll plaza. This "flyover bridge" will take World Drive hotel traffic over the toll plaza.
Other projects include a reconfiguration of Osceola Parkway at Victory Way that includes a flyover that will take Osceola Parkway traffic over Victory Way. A "roadway link" from Reams Road to Floridian Way and an extension of Western Way to Avalon Road is also planned.
And finally, a "cloverleaf" design interchange will be completed at Osceola Parkway and World Drive.
The roadwork near Hollywood Studios is being done in anticipation of bigger crowds at that theme park once the Star Wars expansion and Toy Story Land are completed.
What is your biggest traffic headache at the Walt Disney World Resort? Let us know in the comments.

Is there a link to maps to get a better idea of where it is?

The flyover for MK entrance is brilliant. I just love it when people are all the way to the left to enter and cross all the way over......
