If you're a fan of a classic turkey dinner, you're going to want to make your way to Disney Springs where The Daily Poutine is serving it up in a cup. The Gobbler Poutine warmed my insides while putting a smile on my face. It was just one reason to be thankful I was in Walt Disney World.
Take a closer look at the Gobbler Poutine and you will see that the dish is positively packed with goodness. Layers of thick cut fries are topped with cheese curds, gravy, turkey, and cranberry chutney. While this claims to have brown gravy, it tasted much lighter like a basic turkey gravy. The turkey on mine was mostly dark meat, if you are averse to that part of the bird keep this in mind. Overall you can taste the sage and thyme in every bite, but it's really a bit bland until you try the cranberries.
I was expecting the cranberries on this to be sweet, the way I make mine, and that was a mistake. The Gobbler Poutine cranberries taste like they have been made with rich balsamic vinegar, and that gives them a bit of a sweet and sour flavor. They are almost a savory cranberry chutney and you're going to want to get a little bit of that goodness in every bite. It's the cranberries really make this dish pop.
The portion is surprisingly large and is easily a meal for one person, or a snack for two or three to share. Gobbler Poutine is only around for a limited time though, so if you're in Disney for the season be sure to stop by and enjoy the holiday feast.

I enjoyed it quite a bit after I figured out I had to get a bit of the cranberry in every bite.
