Harambe Wildlife Parti Starts Memorial Day Weekend at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Memorial Day Weekend is going to be huge at Disney's Animal Kingdom as the park transitions to a nighttime destination. Several new experiences are coming to the theme park including the Harambe Wildlife Parti.

The Harambe Wildlife Parti begins Memorial Day weekend at the Animal Kingdom

This nighttime event takes place starting at twilight in Harambe with local street musicians and entertainers inviting guests to join them in dance and song. The party will also feature exotic food and drink.

In the late afternoon each day the Burudika Band takes the stage in Harambe's Old Square and acts as hosts for the Wildlife Parti. The band will perform original songs and "Afro pop" hits from all around Africa.

The Harambe Meerkats, the local soccer team, will be in the village performing their meerkat-inspired soccer moves and acrobatics. Guests will also be entertained by the sounds of Kora Tinga Tinga and Muziki.

Throughout the evening the Karibu Sisters will engage guests with their storytelling, elegant dance, and a cappella songs while the Harambe Village Acrobats perform daring acts and build human pyramids.

The Harambe Wildlife Parti will take place each evening at Disney's Animal Kingdom beginning Memorial Day Weekend.
