One of my favorite parts of Epcot is all the live entertainment happening constantly around the park. Music is everywhere, even at the trashcans. The JaMMitors are a unique "percussion-playing cleanup crew" that adds fun and creativity to even the most boring of Disney jobs. Instruments for this exciting entertainment crew are simply "regular trash cans, dustpans, and hardhats." Dressed as custodians the group "are actually percussionists who bang, clap, clip and clomp to your heart's delight".
If you can find the JaMMitors during your visit, be sure to stop and watch their fantastic 8-minute show that combines rhythm and dance in an exciting and engaging way. Look for this fun foot stomping, had clapping show near Mission: SPACE attraction and the Test Track attraction in the Future World. You can find their performance times in your Epcot Show Times Guide. This show and crew has been so popular, they also have a cast at Tokyo Disneyland, they've been on a cross country tour to promote volunteerism, and for special events they're known to "dress up" to appear as the "Jammin' Gardeners" or "Jammin' Chefs".
Thanks so much to John Donahue for the use of his JAMMitors video so that I could bring a little extra Disney magic to you at home. Have you seen the JaMMitors? Are you a fan of this entertaining show? Leave me a comment and let me know!
