Savvy shoppers can add another location to their Downtown Disney Marketplace shopping list. The Marketplace Co Op is set to take over the current location of Team Mickey next to TrenD next spring.
The Marketplace Co Op will "serve as a laboratory to showcase new concepts and specialty products" according to Tom Sheldon, manager of retail design and development for Disney Theme Park Merchandise. He also said the new store was an "incubator to introduce new Disney retails shops and products."
The Marketplace Co Op will retain the Team Mickey's current ceiling and skylight, but the construction and design will be altered to reveal the building's craftsman style. Inside the Marketplace Co Op shoppers will find six new spaces: Beautifully Disney, Cherry Tree Lane, D-Tech on Demand, The Trophy Room, Centerpiece, and Zoey and Pickles.
Beautifully Disney will sell makeup, fragrances, and accessories and Cherry Tree Lane will be the destination for women with a passion for scarves, shoes, and jewelry. If you're looking to personalize your electronics head to D-Tech on Demand, and guests looking to add some Disney decor to their home can find it at Centerpiece. Zoey and Pickles is a girls' clothing store.

As far as we know Tala, Tren-D will remain. However things may get shuffled around a bit in the coming days due to the remodeling of the area into Disney Springs.

Is Team Mickey closing? That would be a real shame, that's a great place.
