If you're looking to move to the West Coast and you happen to have a spare $1.6 million, you could own a piece of Disney-related history. The one-time residence of famed Disney artist Mary Blair is on the market in Los Angeles.
The house was built in 1939, designed by architect Harwell Hamilton Harris and was recently renovated during a multi-year project. The home's current owners purchased the house in 2011 and immediately started renovating the property.
The house is listed as the former home and studio of Mary Blair and her husband Lee Blair, who was also a Disney animator. Mary Blair died in 1978.
The house looks out onto landscaped hillsides and features a variety of windows in every room. The kitchen features a vintage refrigerator and stove, perhaps to keep up the 1950s vibe.
The company listing says of the house: "The magic of the artists' residence and studio is alive and well, ready to enliven and enhance the life of the next special owner(s)."
You can see more photos of the house here.

I love this house, and it really does feel like someplace Mary Blair would have lived to me. If only I would win the lottery.
