She's coming off an incredible season of awards and critical acclaim associated with the movie "Black Swan," and now she's set to appear in Disney's prequel to the "Wizard of Oz." It's been reported Mila Kunis has signed on to play Theodora in "Oz: The Great and Powerful.
As one of three witches in the film, Kunis will share screen time with Oscar-nominee James Franco as he takes on the role of a young Oz. There is a lot of speculation as to who will fill the shoes of the other two witch roles. Actresses such as Amy Adams, Olivia Wilde, Keira Knightley, Rebecca Hall and Kate Beckinsale are reportedly being considered by the studio for the roles.
Also on board for the film are director Sam Raimi and "Alice in Wonderland" producer Joe Roth.
Production on "Oz" is to start up sometime this summer.
