New and Improved Fantasyland Set to Debut December 6
The big news out of Walt Disney World recently is that guests visiting the Magic Kingdom this December will get to see the fruits of the Fantasyland expansion labor. December 6 is the date set for the new Fantasyland's grand opening.
Look for the following new attractions and such to be open: Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid, Be Our Guest Restaurant, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Ariel's Grotto, Gaston's Tavern and Bonjour! Village Gifts. Guests can also expect the remainder of the Storybook Circus portion of Fantasyland to be open in time for the grand opening as well. Much of the Storybook Circus was opened last month; opening in time for the big December debut will be Big Top Souvenirs and Pete's Silly Sideshow character meet and greet.
Previews of the newest Fantasyland attractions are planned to begin November 19.

I guess that I'll have to wait until next year to visit the new Fantasyland. That's okay though, it should give them a chance to work out any bugs!
