Disney has announced the new Disney After Hours. This nighttime event takes place on select nights at the Magic Kingdom and includes the chance to ride some of the park's attractions, meet characters, and enjoy ice cream novelties. Tickets are $149 per person. Disney After Hours takes place April 28 and May 5 from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m., and April 14, 21, and May 8, 12, and 19 from 11 p.m. until 2 a.m.
Speaking of the Magic Kingdom, we're seeing reports that the fireworks and parades are no longer part of the FastPass+ selections for the park.
If you're making plans to visit the Walt Disney World Resort this summer Disney recently announced the 'Awaken Summer' room offer featuring discounts on rooms up to 30 percent. Guests who choose to add a minimum 2-day Magic Your Way ticket to their vacation will also receive a limited-edition Magic Band featuring BB-8 from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. (Every member of the group will get the MagicBand).
D-Luxe Burger, a Disney-owned burger restaurant, is scheduled to open in May in Disney Springs! The restaurant will be serving gourmet burgers, fries, and Artisanal Gelato Shakes!
And finally, there appears to be more changes coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios. It seems that a Muppet theme might actually be coming to the park. There have been a couple reports this week that Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano and MuppetVision 3D will be located in the "Muppet's Courtyard."
What do you think about the new Disney After Hours at the Magic Kingdom? Will you pay $150 to spend a few extra hours at the park? Let us know in the

Absolutely not ... further, Disney it is time you make more of your rides wheelchair accessible. Many people in wheelchairs cannot transfer out of the chair to the ride, yet we still have to pay full price. It is time to put your 'imagineers' to work, or contact me, I will help with ideas and I won't even charge you extra ....

I think that this new "After Hours" experience has finally made Disney go over the edge on pricing. No, just no. I hope that most guests decided that this is too much and Disney hears loud and clear that they've gone too far.

I love Disney but I think they've gotten a little too big for their britches! Anybody that wants to pay that kind of money for a couple more hours needs to have their heads examined! I think Walt would be really disappointed in the direction that the management is taking his wonderful parks. Very sad.
