Night of Joy Planned for September at the Walt Disney World Resort
This fall's 31st Night of Joy will feature two legends in Contemporary Christian music - Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith. The award-winning artists will be performing their own individual sets and then will play together for the first time.
Other artists scheduled for the event include MercyMe - returning for their sixth consecutive Night of Joy - and 2012 Grammy nominee TobyMac, Francesca Battistelli(pictured), Skillet, and Newboys.
This year's list of performers includes six artists who are new to the event: Moriah Peters, We As Human, City Harbor, For King and Country, and Jamie Grace. Christian Alt-Pop artists Plumb (Tiffany Arbuckle Lee) was recently added as a performer.
Disney's Night of Joy is scheduled for September 6-7 at the Magic Kingdom. One day tickets are $55 plus tax in advance and $65 plus tax the night of the show. Two-night tickets are $99 plus tax (advanced purchase only). For more information visit www.nightofjoy.com.

Think I am the only one around here who is a Night of Joy fan. Good youth group memories. I actually remember going with some of the members of MercyMe before they became big. Haven't been in years, but the idea of the two biggest names in Christian music, Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith, performing together is certainly tempting.

I'm a huge Francesca Battistelli fan and would love to be able to go to Night of Joy some year, unfortunately not in the cards this year! And I agree, Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith performing together--especially because they don't perform as much anymore--would be amazing to hear!
