Pandora: The World of Avatar Opens May 27 at Disney's Animal Kingdom

It's official! Pandora: The World of Avatar is slated to open on May 27 at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The announcement was made today by Disney CEO Bob Iger during The Walt Disney Company's earnings call.

Guests will be transported to the world of Pandora, filled with floating mountains, bioluminescent plants, and much more.

One of the new attractions, the Na'Vi River Journey, will take guests on a boat ride through the bioluminescent rainforest of Pandora. The other attraction, Avatar Flight of Passage, will take guests on a thrilling journey through Pandora on a Banshee.

Dining options in Pandora including the Satu'li Canteen and Pongu Pongu (for beverages).
