Disney Springs is adding yet another restaurant to its lineup. The Polite Pig, a "fast casual concept," has been announced for the Town Center of Disney Springs, with an opening date in the spring of 2017.
James Beard-nominated chefs James and Julie Petrakis, owners of Orlando's The Ravenous Pig and Cask & Larder, are opening The Polite Pig "to bring in local flavor." The duo is known for their emphasis on seasonal ingredients and for farm-to-table cuisine.
Brian Petrakis, owner and operator of Orlando's Greens & Grille, is partnering with his brother James and sister-in-law Julie on The Polite Pig, marking the first time the brothers have worked together on a new restaurant.
The Polite Pig will serve up a variety of wood-fired and grilled items in addition to "snacks" like Boiled Peanut Hummus. Check out the preliminary menu:
The restaurant will also introduce all drinks on tap including Cask & Larder beer, wine, and cocktails.
