Professional and Amateur Sports Call Walt Disney World Home this spring

It's shaping up to be a sports-filled spring at the Walt Disney World Resort.

The Atlanta Braves started spring training in mid-February at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, and will be playing 17 home games starting February 26 against the Detroit Tigers.

The Tigers return to Orlando on March 2 and March 21, while the New York Yankees face the Braves on March 19. The Washington Nationals come to Disney three times in March and the New York Mets will play the Braves on March 3 and 23.

The Braves spring training schedule also includes three night games at Champion Stadium. Spring training concludes on March 26 with an afternoon game against the Miami Marlins.

Soccer fans have a chance to attend the Disney Pro Soccer Classic where eight soccer clubs, including six Major League Soccer squads, are competing through March 1.

Disney is also hosting the Disney Spring Training program from now through April for high school teams in baseball, softball, track and field, lacrosse, tennis, golf, and rugby. The teams will be training at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex while enjoying the Walt Disney World Resort.
