Queue for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train to Feature Interactive Gem Sorting Station

Guests waiting in line for the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train won't have a chance to be bored.

Disney has announced that the ride will feature an interactive queue to keep guests entertained while they wait.

The first interactive opportunity is a gemstone sorting station located at a 15-foot digital sluice box. Guests will have the chance to sort jewels into different trays, matching the jewels by color and shape.

The queue also features 12 spigots inspired by the woodland animals in the film and each spigot corresponds to the notes of a musical scale. So, as guests move from spigot to spigot the melody from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs can be created.

As guests move through the queue they'll also pass the Vault room which is a nod to a scene from the film where one of the dwarfs hangs a key outside the mine's Vault room door.

The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is scheduled to open something this spring, based on previous reports. No official opening date has been announced.

I love these new interactive elements being put in the queues.
