The Rebel Hangar: A Star Wars Lounge Experience Coming to Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Just in case Star Wars Weekends weren't going to be amazing enough this year, Disney just announced the addition of a popup Star Wars-themed restaurant, The Rebel Hangar: A Star Wars Lounge Experience. This spot was "once a known hangout of Rebel pilots, aliens, and smugglers" and the themeing is going to be out of this galaxy amazing.

The location will feature abandoned spacecraft and remnants of other space vehicles and all the menu items will have a special Star Wars touch too.

Menu items at The Rebel Hangar include: Pilot's Pomme Frites, Ensalada Naboo, Lightsaber Bites, The Dark Fried (chicken and Darth Vader waffles), Trio of Thermal Detonators (spicy pork wings), a Slider Sampler with The Sith and The Jedi sliders, and Chips and Sith (hummus with red pepper coulis, black sesame dust, and corn chips).

Dessert items include a Yoda Key Lime Cake, a trio of Star Wars-themed mini cupcakes including Darth Vader, Yoda, and Jabba the Hut all served in a Han Solo Carbonite Souvenir Box. The Jabba the Hutt and Yoda cupcakes will also be available at the Trolley Car Cafe, Starring Rolls, Backlot Express, and the Tusken Fridge Raiders inside Darth's Mall.

The Darth Vader cupcakes will be available at all quick service spots inside Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Of course no Star Wars Lounge experience would be complete without some adult beverages and the choices include Imperial Blue (Maker's Mark Whiskey, Cointreau, Blue Curacao, sweet and sour, and Sprite), Rebel Red (Grey Goose Vodka, Chambord, sour mix, and grenadine), and The Dark Side (Stoli Vanilla Vodka, Bailey's, creme de cocoa, and a brownie garnish).

Advance Dining Reservations are strongly recommended for The Rebel Hangar. You can make online reservations now for Star Wars Weekends (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sunday from May 15 through June 14) for times from 4-9 p.m. No prepayment is required. All menu items are a la carte and are priced from $5.49 to $16.99.
