Registration Now Open for the 2017 runDisney Virtual Running Shorts Series

Registration is now open for the 2017 runDisney Virtural Running Shorts series. This year's Virtual Running Shorts Series honors everyone's favorite Disney dog, Pluto. The celebratory charity for this year's event is the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando.

The Virtual Running Shorts Series allows runners of every level to participate in one or more of the 5K summer runs. Participants can run wherever they choose, including at home on a treadmill!

For each 5K completed participants will earn a different commemorative finisher medal. Each of this year's medals features an element that represents Pluto. If you finish all three 5K races within the completion time frame you'll also receive a Virtual Running Shorts Series Finisher Medal and a Coolcore towel.

Participants who register before April 30 will also receive a commemorative dog tag and a collapsible pet bowl.

The 5K race months are June, July, and August this summer. Dates are June 1 through August 31. For more information and to register visit the runDisney Virtual Running Shorts Series website.
