We're still a few months away from the opening of Disney's Art of Animation Resort, but details of the resort's food court, Landscape of Flavors, have surfaced.
The food court will have several "shops" from which guests can choose their food. A Soup-Salad-Sandwich Shop will let guests make up their own salads or choose from sandwiches such as a caprese with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes. Homemade chips are to be served on the side. The Pizza Shop will offer up pasta as well as pies. Guests can grab a burger at the Burger Shop, including a breakfast burger and a surf and turf burger. Those wanting to taste something more global can pick up a meal at the World Flavors Shop while guests on the run can grab something at the Market Shop.
In addition, the food court will offer up a host of beverage choices. Made to order fresh fruit smoothies are on the menu as well as pomegranate limeade and lemonade. A wide variety of organic teas, beer, coffee and juices are on tap while the food court will pair half bottles of wine with the food offerings.
Says Chef Ed Wronski, Director, Food and Beverage Concept Development, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts:
The idea is that you customize your choice. From burgers to pasta, salads, ethnic flavors, omelets, even parfaits and gelatos, everything is made fresh as you order.
Landscape of Flavors will be situated off of the resort's lobby and will participate in the Disney Dining Plan. Look for the Art of Animation resort to open this May.
