Special Weekends and More Planned for the 2015 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival

We're just about six weeks away from the start of the 2015 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival which begins March 4 and runs for 75 days until May 17. This year's Festival will feature new Frozen-themed topiaries, 11 Outdoor Kitchens, a new concert series, and 10 new gardens plus new weekend festivities.

This year's topiaries will include some inspired by Frozen, including Disney's first Anna and Elsa topiaries that will appear in a garden inspired by the film's finale. Other topiaries this year include Chip 'n Dale, Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto in the front entrance vignettes 'Goofy About Spring.'

The Outdoor Kitchens are returning to the festival this year with the addition of a new Bonitas Botanico Outdoor Kitchen that will be located between France and Morocco. This kiosk will serve Cachapas with Farmer's Cheese, Seafood Ceviches, and the non-alcoholic punch La Tizana.

This year's Festival will also feature special weekend festivities including 'Spring into Spring Weekend' (March 13-17) with a special nod to St. Patrick's Day, 'Art in the Garden Weekend' (March 27-29), Earth Day Weekend (April 17-19), and Florida Fresh Weekend (April 24-26).

There will be 10 new gardens including a healing and health garden, a pepper garden, a dinosaur plant garden, and a Shakespeare garden. After sunset the gardens and topiaries will be illuminated so guests can still enjoy the festival after dark. And each weekend the Garden Rocks Concert Series will rock the America Gardens Theater.
