Star Wars: Force For Change, the charitable initiative from Disney and Lucasfilm, has announced its next charitable campaign. Teaming up with eBay Giving Works, Star Wars: Force For Change is auctioning off plaster Stormtrooper helmet replicas decorated by artists from around the world.
The 10-day auction kicked off May 4 and gives bidders the chance to big on the one-of-a-kind helmets with starting prices of $5.04. The helmets have been donated to U.S. Fund for UNICEF by Lucasfilm and the organization will receive 100 percent of the final auction sale prices.
The money will support UNICEF Kid Power, a new program that uses Wearable-For-Good (think FitBits for kids) to help get kids active and provide lifesaving food packets to children in need around the world.
