Star Wars Land Updates from D23: Destination D

Yesterday we told you about the exciting updates on Pandora - The World of Avatar coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom and today we have news about the new Star Wars-themed land coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

At D23: Destination D, attendees learned what the new Star Wars land will look like after dark and got a sneak peek at the new land, including the new attraction that gives guests a chance to take the controls of the Millennium Falcon.

Disney is also adding new adventures to Star Tours - the Adventures Continue attraction. According to Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek, Disney and Lucasfilm are working to add a new mission based on elements from Star Wars: Episode VIII.

Work is currently underway at the Star Wars land at both Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disneyland.

No completion date has been announced for the Star Wars-themed lands.
