Sweet and Delicious Treats At Walt Disney World That Aren’t Pink

Being "in the pink" mans that you're in the height of health and spirits, and it seems like Walt Disney World has gone over the moon with delightful pink treats. However " if your taste buds aren't quite in sync with the latest craze, I've got six solid sweet treats that are sure to tempt.

First off, Sprinkles is celebrating 13 years of serving up some of the most flavorful cupcakes in the country. Sprinkles' Black Velvet Birthday Cupcake can be found at the Disney Springs bakery location and it's bursting with... well... sprinkles!

Pinocchio Village Haus in the Magic Kingdom has a new Italian Cream Cake served in a cup with layers of white cake dappled with chocolate and nuts in between lush stripes of sweet Italian cream. It's a perfect snack to eat while you stroll.

Also in the Magic Kingdom, Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe has a new delight that's tops on my must eat list. The Sonny Eclipse Dessert is a cake is cookies and cream cheesecake on a chocolate cookie crust, with a layer of chocolate icing poured over the top. If you're a chocolate lover, just say yes to Sonny.

Of course if you like to keep it simple and classic the freshly made Beignets at Port Orleans French Quarter Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory are some of the best I've ever had. These light and fluffy puffs are covered in powdered sugar and you can even get them with a side of dipping sauce in caramel, raspberry, or chicory ganache.

Over at Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Disney's Animal Kingdom a tempting new dessert has popped up on the menu. The Malava Cake is a warm spice cake crowned with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzled with delicious caramel


School Bread In NorwaySchool Bread In Norway


Midnattssol Bakeri in the Norway Pavilion is taking up the slack from the refurbishment closure of the Kringla Bakeri og Kafe. The fan favorite School Bread with it's sweet vanilla custard and toasty coconut can still be had.
